The Training and Placement Management System is a comprehensive web-based application designed to digitize and simplify the campus recruitment process. The platform connects students, companies, and Training & Placement Officers (TPOs) within a single integrated system, reducing manual work while improving communication and transparency throughout the placement lifecycle.
Students can create profiles, upload resumes, browse available job opportunities, apply for suitable positions, monitor their application status, access placement preparation materials, attend quizzes, and receive interview schedules. Companies can register on the platform, publish job vacancies, review student applications, shortlist candidates, assign technical tests, schedule interviews, and monitor recruitment progress. The TPO acts as the administrator of the system, overseeing students, companies, applications, interviews, learning materials, and assessment activities.
The application incorporates role-based authentication, token-based API security, automatic student profile creation, and status-based application tracking to ensure a secure and organized recruitment process. The recruitment workflow includes multiple stages such as application submission, approval, technical test, test evaluation, interview scheduling, and final placement tracking.
Built using Django, Django REST Framework, Token Authentication, and a relational database, the system provides scalable REST APIs alongside a responsive web interface. By automating placement activities and centralizing communication among stakeholders, the platform improves operational efficiency, reduces administrative effort, enhances student engagement, and provides a transparent recruitment process for educational institutions.
