Project Overview

CareConnect is a web-based Home Caretaker Services management system developed using Django. The system connects customers with service providers for household and caretaker-related services. Customers can register, view available services, choose active service providers, book services, make payments through Razorpay, view booking history, and submit complaints. Service providers can manage their offered services, view customer bookings, and update booking statuses. The admin manages users, service providers, services, bookings, complaints, and provider account activation. The system reduces manual coordination, improves service accessibility, and provides a centralized platform for customers, providers, and administrators.

Module Breakdown 4 Modules

Authentication Module

This module manages user registration, login, and logout. New users can create an account using a username and password. The system validates password confirmation and checks whether the username already exists. After login, users are redirected based on their role.

User Profile Module

This module stores customer personal and contact details. A user profile is automatically created when a new account is registered. Customers can update their profile information, which includes name, address, pincode, email, and phone number.

Product Management Module

This module allows the administrator to manage available water products. Each product contains details such as size, price, and description. Customers can view products before placing orders.

Customer Dashboard Module

This module provides customers with a summary of their activity. It displays recent orders, total orders, successful deliveries, upcoming deliveries, and total amount spent on paid orders.
