Project Overview

The Church Community Management System is a web-based application developed to simplify and digitize the administrative and community management activities of a church. Built using Django 5.0.3 and SQLite, the system provides a centralized platform for managing church members, family records, sacramental certificates, events, and donations. It replaces traditional paper-based processes with a secure, efficient, and user-friendly digital solution, improving data accuracy and reducing administrative workload.
The system enables members to register and maintain their personal profiles while allowing administrators to manage house names, family memberships, and member records through a role-based access system. It supports the submission, verification, and approval of important church certificates, including baptism, marriage, and death certificates, ensuring proper record keeping and streamlined approval workflows. Members can also book church events, while authorized administrators review and approve requests through a dedicated administrative dashboard.
In addition to member and event management, the application provides comprehensive donation tracking, including general church donations and house-specific contributions. A custom administrative dashboard offers centralized control over approvals, records, and system activities, while a simplified user dashboard allows members to access services and monitor their requests conveniently. The role-based architecture ensures that users can access only the features relevant to their responsibilities, enhancing both security and usability.
Overall, the Church Community Management System improves the efficiency, transparency, and reliability of church administration by integrating multiple community services into a single web platform. The application demonstrates how modern web technologies can support religious organizations in managing their operations effectively while providing an improved digital experience for both church administrators and members.
